Located roughly halfway between San Pedro Alcántara and Estepona, Sotoserena is a peaceful, residential complex set in the heart of an area of rustic charm with access to many beaches and leisure facilities.
Cabo Bermejo, from where access to a large expanse of quality beach is gained, is within easy walking distance and offers an array of watersports, restaurants and beach bars. Estepona, a popular resort town, is a short drive and home to the popular and busy La Rada beach and the stunning El Cristo Cove, a west-facing beach with two bars. Sotoserena features a nine-hole golf course and expansive tracts of rural land, ensuring a tranquil enviroment that is within reach of local amenities, such as the Coto La Serena commercial centre, which features shops, a supermarket and a tennis club, the five star Las Dunas hotel and a small delicatessen. The nearby village of Benahavís boasts local eateries of regional renown. Also close to hand are a nature park and an equestrian centre.
Construction in Sotoserena is limited, ensuring optimum privacy and quiet. The spacious complex harbours tropical gardens, swimming pools with bar, gymnasiums and saunas. Homes designed to capture the flavour of Al-Andalus are constructed with beechwood interior carpentry and gritstone tiling and feature a fully fitted kitchen, alcove windows and sun drenched terraces with air conditioning and heating throughout. A small development of fewer than 200 homes, Sotoserena is a vision of the Spanish idyll inspired by the translation of its name - serene grove.
